Moon in the parking lot

It was last night when I walked into the parking lot. As usual there were a very few cars left. Sometimes if I am lucky I can catch the sunset but yesteray 'sun' of a gun escaped. Sky was wondering whether it should still hold on to the dusk or slip into the night. Stars, as if getting ready for the next show started showing up and hurrying the sky to make the background darker so that they can start their next performance. Luckily for them it was a clear evening and clouds seem to have found some other patch to harass and obstruct the stars performance there.

Anyways, I turned aside and saw the big guy!! Moon, wow it was so beautiful! And suddenly I heard it saying "Dude, not again!!" Don't think about anyone else as soon as you see me. He kinda said, "it is strange how I remind you all of a girl when you all call me CHANDA MAMA." Ok, it was hard for me to explain him that I am not thinking about anyone else but him and his stars. It seemed as if its going to be a big performance that night.

Glitters and the razzle dazzles were even flashier that night. I immediately promised them I'll spend the whole evening with them and got into the car. I wanted to add a touch to the already excellent ambience. Slided in Gulzaar saab into the CD player and requested him to do something to make it more pleasurable for us all. He called his friends Pancham, Asha, Mukesh, Latha and many more that I don't even know. Slowly the party started and I follwed 'moonjee' and his entourage on I-75 north. I kept following them in the company of Gulzar jee and almost losing the count of miles. After about 35-40 miles, I saw a sign saying lake Altoona. Well, I understood where the venue was that night. Followed the exit and went to the lake. It was about 10.30 in the night and here there I was at one of the most beautiful places in the world. Let's say considering both the time-space dimensions.

I pulled over into a small parking lot by the lake and looked around. There is this thin strip of land that dared into the midst of the lake making it a perfect setting for the evening. I walked on the strip till the end and there was my seat a comfortable rock to lean on while I watch all of them dazzle me in perfect grace. I was gazing stars everywhere, in the sky and in the water. I almost lost the count of time laying there but as we all know "Har mulaqat ka anjaam judaai hai" and the performance came to an end when Ms Cold Breeze started making me feel uncomfortable and reminded me that its about time I head home.
